I am sooooo freakin' looking forward to this year's air show: The Sound of Freedom

Have you ever seen the whole picture that they've clipped to the end of their ad banner? It's a jet hitting mach, and there is this egg-shaped cloud of vapor (?) that the jet is coming out of. Very cool. I have it if you'd like me to send it to you.

fleet week and the air show will go on, but without the headliners that consistently drew a huge crowd. phooey!
I am green with envy. I've never gotten to see the Blue Angels. Seen the Thunderbirds. I've heard the Blue Angels make them look like student pilots.

Posted by: Mad Mikey at August 7, 2004 08:47 AMWell, I don't know which ones it is that do the show here at Willow Grove N.A.S., but they kick some serious ass AND, I get to spend the week prior to the show, sitting in a lawn chair in my yard, watching them fly by over head, practicing.
Now, THAT is cool.
(This farm is less, waaaay less, than 5 miles from the airfields.)
It's noisy, but cool as HELL.
