U.S. to Give Border Patrol New Powers to Deport Illegal Aliens
You mean DHS is actually going to allow the Border Patrol to do their jobs!? Well good!!
Of course, I can just hear the screams of 'racism'....
Posted by Mad Mikey at August 11, 2004 07:31 AM | TrackBackWe've got clowns running things. They are so counterintuitive and willing to suppress their own survival instinct so as not to offend anyone. Unbelievable!
I'll tell you this, I'm sure segregation was awful and demeaning, but what I wouldn't give to live in a 1940s kind of world!
Posted by: La Shawn at August 11, 2004 07:48 AMThe new rule will apply to illegal aliens caught within 100 miles of the Mexican and Canadian borders who have spent 14 days or less within the United States.
Why the limits? If you're here illegally, you need to be booted out. Geez....
The border agents will focus on deporting third-country nationals, rather than Mexicans or Canadians, and they are expected to begin exercising their new powers on Aug. 24 in Tucson and Laredo, Tex.
What focus? If you're caught, you get dumped back at the border, with a swift kick in the ass. Do you think some terrorists might think of fabricating some Mexican documents so they can slip through the cracks? [shakes head in disbelief].

But I do understand the desire for (sometimes) a more simplistic life.....
TOMS: I didn't read that far into it. They're going to ignore Mexicans & Canadians? Then what's the point....?[/smacking forehead]
