I Stand with Israel

(via Palm Treo 755p)

Just a quick post to let those still reading that I'm still here - just been busy in getting on the national transplant list.

AND.....I agree 100% with what Glenn Beck said yesterday on his show on Fox: I too stand with Israel.

Without going into all of the material that Glenn Beck has talked about on his show, what he's been reporting has sent a chill down my spine more than once. I get the feeling that as I watch the news these days that I'm watching history unfold beforemy eyes and I wonder if people back in 1939/1940 felt the same way as they watched events in Europe and rhe Pacific Rim.

It's some scary shit. Scary, but I stand with Israel.

Wonderful People

I spotted this over at Little Green Footballs and Charles points out another reason (IMHO) that the terrorist group Hamas should be wiped clean off the face of the Earth:

Palestinian Terrorist Attacks Two Children with Axe

This morning in the Israeli town of Bat Ayin, an Arab terrorist attacked two young boys with an axe, killing one and wounding another, then escaped. Soccer Dad has a report: Terror in bat ayin.

[....]

UPDATE at 4/2/09 9:40:37 am:

Hamas applauds the axe murderer.

“This attack was committed in the framework of the resistance,” Ayman Taha said. “This is a reaction to the continuing occupation and the continued building of settlements.”

“This is a natural reaction,” he said, “especially against the backdrop of Israel attacks. We are a people occupied, and it is our right to defend ourselves and to act in every way and with every means at our disposal in order to defend ourselves.”

My opinion about Hamas and everyone in that group needing to assume room temperature quickly is for their approving of this insane act on children.

Stupid fuckers....what wonderful people.

And Some People Wonder...

When I see crap like this, it really boggles me as to why some people wonder why a good chunk of the world couldn't give a flying F*CK about the Palestinians and the way they conduct themselves.

More on this and other instances at Palestinian Media Watch

The funny thing is....I used to be supportive the Palestinians.

Yup, sure did. I used to always think 'awww, the poor Palestinians - if only they could get their land back the world would be a much happier place'.

Like I said - I used to think that way until I took a closer look at history and especially when I saw this:

(Actually, I remember seeing this on 9/11; this just refreshed my memory.)

And with these images still fresh in my mind, I started researching what-was-what and pulled my head from under the ground.

Not any more....I've said before (somewhere) that the Palestinians can have a heaping bowl of 'Fuck You Stew'.

Chow down folks....

Forty Years

Wow - its officially been 40 years since one teeny, tiny little state in the Middle East handed three of its neighbors their asses:

Arabs blame problems on 1967 war defeat

CAIRO, Egypt - Forty years after Israel's stunning victory over three Arab armies, the defeat still lingers in the Arab world — so much so, some blame it for everything from a lack of democracy in the region to the rise of religious extremism.

On June 5, 1967, Israeli warplanes destroyed 400 aircraft belonging to Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Iraq — most of them sitting on airport tarmacs. Egypt lost the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Strip, Syria gave up the Golan Heights, and Jordan relinquished the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Trying to minimize the defeat, Arabs have long called the Six Day War the "naksa," or "setback," but its impact remains a deep wound.

Egyptian columnist Wael Abdel Fattah wrote in the independent weekly Al-Fagr newspaper that Arabs blame the defeat for "everything" — from "price hikes, dictatorship, religious extremism, sectarian strife, even sexual impotence."

"A military defeat, that could have been limited, has been transformed to an overall defeat, represented by regimes ... and societies that fear change," Syrian writer Bakr Sedqi said in the pan-Arab daily Al-Hayat.

Um....how can I say this.....oh, I know: STFU.

Top Hamas official: Kill all Americans

Sheik Ahmad Bahr, acting Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, declared during a Friday sermon at a Sudan mosque that America and Israel will be annihilated and called upon Allah to kill Jews and Americans "to the very Last One".

And they wonder why we're not upset when they get killed.....

Journalists Kidnapped in Gaza

2 Fox News Reporters Kidnapped in Gaza

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) -- Masked Palestinian gunmen ambushed a car carrying a Fox News crew in Gaza City on Monday and kidnapped two journalists, including one American, witnesses and Fox said.

"We can confirm that two of our people were taken against their will in Gaza," Fox News said in a statement.

A Fox employee in Gaza, who declined to give his name because he was not authorized to release information about the incident, said American reporter Steve Centanni and New Zealand cameraman Olaf Wiig were kidnapped.

Even if you're someone who doesn't watch Fox News because you think they're B-A-D, say a prayer for these two men.

Israeli Payback

I've been watching the news over the last few days watching as Israel dishes out some payback onto Hezbollah guerillas in southern Lebanon.

Good for them.

As I was watching one of the reports on FoxNews last night, I remarked to my wife:

'You know.....if some Islamic psycho was able to detonate a nuclear weapon in Israel and killed a few million Jews.....there would be Arab nations and American peaceniks bitchin and moaning about all of the smoke coming from the nuclear firestorm and the United Nations would be trying to issue a condemnation on Israel for all the pollution caused by the bomb.'

My wife agreed.

I'm serious as a heart attack: no matter what Israel does, they are to blame for all the crap happening......as far as the Arab world and most American newspapers are concerned.

Tear it up Israel!

Historical Butt-Stomping

Charlie over at OPFOR reminds us of a significant event that happened right before I was born - the Six Day War on 1973.

The war changed the 'landscape' of the Middle East - so much that the Palestinians are still whining about the 'stolen land' and it's probably the one war/event that most Middle Eastern nations still won't really acknowledge to this day.

Palestinians Care for their Children

By way of Little Green Footballs:

Kids brandish guns to test IDF vigilance

A group of Palestinian children were sent towards the Gaza Strip border fence holding toy guns on Thursday in order to test the vigilance of the soldiers on duty.

From a distance, troops noticed four apparently armed Palestinians approaching the border north of the Kissufim crossing.

When the four were some 400 meters from the fence, the soldiers realized that they were children, who looked to be about 13 years of age, and that their guns were toys.

And people wonder why I always say that they Palestinians should have another heaping helping of 'F*ck You Stew'....?

Shaking & Quaking

Should the West be 'quaking in its boots'?

Abbas warns of Palestinian anger "explosion" on aid

STRASBOURG, France, May 16 (Reuters) - President Mahmoud Abbas warned on Tuesday of an "explosion of anger" among Palestinians if international donors did not move fast to restore aid cut off in recent weeks.

International donors including the European Union and the United States have suspended aid to the Palestinian Authority because of the Hamas-led government's failure to renounce violence and recognise Israel since coming to power in March.

The EU, the Palestinians' largest donor, has been charged with coming up with a way of restarting aid for the most urgent needs while bypassing Hamas officials. But the EU acknowledges it could take weeks to get a new aid mechanism working.

"Life will be frozen and there will be an explosion of anger and this would lead to a chaotic situation of which we cannot forsee the results," Abbas told a news conference after a speech to the European Parliament in the French city of Strasbourg.

What'll they do if *cough* aid isn't restored? Fire some more rockets into Israel? Send some more homicide bombers to kill innocent civilians? Burn some more flags?

Talk about a tiny kitten getting all puffed up....

UPDATE: It would seem that the Palestinians are serious in their anger. Beware the kitten with claws:

Aksa Brigades threatens US, Europe

The Aksa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, on Monday threatened to strike at US and European interests in response to international sanctions on the Palestinian Authority.

The threat, the first of its kind, came as PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was scheduled to hold talks in Moscow with President Vladimir Putin on the severe financial crisis in the PA territories. Moreover, the threat by Abbas's Fatah party came as Palestinians marked the 58th anniversary of the nakba, or catastrophe (the secular anniversary of Israel's independence).

"We won't remain idle in the face of the siege imposed on the Palestinian people by Israel, the US and other countries," said a leaflet issued by the Aksa Martyrs Brigades in the Gaza Strip. "We will strike at the economic and civilian interests of these countries, here and abroad."

The leaflet added: "Let the entire world know that we won't succumb in the face of the policy of blackmail, siege and starvation. In the past we did not capitulate in the face of the policy of assassinations, detentions and air raids."

Well, I'm guessing that this means that the Palestinians are serious and that we'd better bow to the threat of homicide bombers killing innocent civilians humanitarian need and send them millions billions in *cough* humanitarian aid.

Oh please.....would someone tell the Palestinians about the dangers of huffing industrial cleaning agents?

"Death to America! Now Give Us More Money!!"

Charles at Little Green Footballs nails down this title perfectly:

Nice Nazi salute you got going on there, Ahmed.

Hamas supporters burn the US and British flags during a demonstration in Gaza City. Thousands of Palestinians have demanded death to the United States and rallied behind their Hamas-led government, severely squeezed by a Western boycott, aid cuts and aserious fiscal crisis. (AFP/Samuel Aranda)

Yes indeed - let's help out the Palestinians, especially since they're such a peaceful group to practically all people.

And we must remember the sincere out-pouring of sympathy they showed the world even before the first tower of the WTC fell....

I've said it before and I'll say it here again: no one will take the Palestinians seriously until they stop acting like freaking animals and put they're foot up someone's ass - specificaly, the person/persons responsbile for all of those rocket attacks and the ever-humane homicide bombings.

If you clowns want to be treated nicely and given aid, you'd better stop huffing industrial cleaning agents and get your sh!t wired.

IMHO, until that happens, the Palestinian *cough* Authority can just have another hearty helping of 'F*ck You Stew'.

Sharon Falls Ill

PM recovers from mild stroke, saying 'Time to move forward (kadima)'

While recovering from a mild stroke on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon joked with his medical and office staff, telling them that they "are not rid of him yet." He added in a bit of self-humor that he thought he should take a few days off. Using a double entendre on the name of his new political party Kadima (forward in Hebrew), he quipped that he felt fine, and that the time had arrived to move forward.

Here's hoping that Prime Minister Sharon has a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: It's nice to see that some people are also thinking 'nice thoughts' for the prime minister....I've changed my mind: let's give the Palestinians a state of their own!....screw them. When they start acting like a civlized people deserving of a state of their own, then we'll talk. Until then, let them live like semi-civilized chimps in a zoo.

Palestinian Airlines?

Something that Charles at LGF took notice of:

Palestinians Want Airplanes

Here’s yet another sob story about the Palestinians’ need for an airport: Gaza’s ghost airport awaits better days.

Construction began on the airport after the 1993 Oslo accords were signed in a bid to restore Middle East peace.

The airport functioned primarily as a hub for Arafat when he took trips to other countries.

But when the Israelis destroyed the airport, “all our dreams were stopped cold. We had projected that by 2005 we’d have flights to Paris, Frankfurt and New York,” Gharib said.

Palestinians flying airplanes into New York. Hmm. Why does that not give me a warm, cozy feeling?

Palestinians Party on September 11.

Would you like suicide-belt or non suicide-belt seating...?

Evil Zionist School Bus

Gee - I'm betting this won't make the NYT frontpage, backpage, or even those stupid advertisements that we all instantly toss aside (Hat Tip to Charles at LGF):

Gaza lull shaky as Palestinians fire rocket at settlers' school bus

Palestinians on Friday morning fired an anti-tank rocket on Friday morning at school bus carrying children outside the southern Gaza Strip settlement of Kfar Darom, shaking the fragile lull in violence. The rocket failed to hit the bus.

A mortar shell also hit a Gush Katif settlement. No damage or casualties were reported in either case.

Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired four Qassam rockets at the southern Israeli town of Sderot predawn Friday. The Magen David Adom ambulance service said that several people had been treated for shock.

Three of the rockets landed in an open field. One hit a building in the center of the Negev town, which was empty at the time due to renovation works.

The "Red Dawn" early warning system apparently did not work. Sderot residents last night talked of the return of fear to their lives.

Ah, nothing says COMMITTMENT TO PEACE like attempting to turn a school bus loaded with children into a huge ball of fire....I've changed my mind: do NOT give these psychos a country of their own. To do so would only legitimize these types of actions as effective and they'd f*ck it up anyways and then blame Israel for their ineptitude.

They're Back

Just when you thought the threat of them was gone:

Mahmoud Abbas celebrates with two Iraqi Death Bunnies

(United Mikey Syndicate News) RAMALLAH - Palestinian Authority newly elected President Mahmoud Abbas shown celebrating his victory with two Iraqi Death Bunnies® in Ramallah on Sunday.

Observers were noted to be somewhat shocked at the apperance of the highly dangerous Iraqi weapons of mass destruction sought by Coalition Forces currently in Iraq.

Insiders speculate that the weapons, long thought destroyed or hidden in the early days of the Iraq War of March 2003, were placed in the care of then Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat at the time since there was a clear link of support, both financial and political, between Arafat and then Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

U.S. State Department spokesperson Lloyd Hammerstein was quoted as saying "The appearance of these long-sought after weapons are a clear indication that the missing WMD components obviously were secreted out of Iraq in the early days of the war" and followed up his statement with a one-cheek sneek explusion of methane.

Further questioning of Hammerstein was answered with various belches as he had reportedly entered the briefing room from a luncheon meeting at TGI Fridays.

Oh dear God.....the horror.....the horror.

'Roadmap' Torn Up, Set On Fire

Why am I not surprised?

Palestinians Reject Sharon's Peace 'Test'

GAZA (Reuters) - The Palestinian Authority on Friday rejected Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's new and seemingly softer terms for restarting peace talks, saying he should drop all conditions for dialogue.

Sharon, proposing what he called a test for a new Palestinian leadership, said on Thursday it could show its desire for peace by ending anti-Israeli "incitement" even before the crackdown he has long demanded it launch against militants.

Israeli analysts said Sharon's comments were a departure from his long-standing condition that the Palestinian Authority must dismantle militant groups, as a U.S.-backed peace "road map" demands, before direct talks between the sides can resume.

Gee.....nobody saw this coming.....

Welcome to the Club Hamas

It would seem that there is yet another group that thinks the United States is E-V-I-L:

Hamas designates the US "an enemy"

Hamas published a statement condemning the US and designating it as an enemy country after the US vetoed a resolution in the UN security council that would have unilaterally condemned Israeli military action against the group in the Gaza Strip.

The raids followed a series of rocket attacks on the southern town of Sderot, during which two Israeli toddlers were killed.

The United States vetoed a resolution condemning the Israeli military action against Hamas cells in the Gaza strip. U.S. Ambassador John Danforth cast the U.S. veto after British and German efforts to find compromise language failed.

"Once again, the resolution is lopsided and unbalanced," Danforth said, noting that the resolution made no mention of the launching of rockets from the Gaza strip at Israeli towns and cities.

In a press release in Arabic on its official web, Hamas leaders said: "Hamas is condemning the U.S vote and stating that Hamas considers the U.S as an enemy and as an accomplice to the Israeli enemy aggression against the Palestinians. Hamas regards the U.S position as a criminal act that puts her in a confrontation with "weak" nations. The U.S will face responsibility for its position as an accomplice with Israel to the animosity."

While I am not an expert on U.S. policy when dealing with groups such as Hamas, I can safely predict that if the Hamas leadership (the ones that are still alive) thinks that Israel is being mean & nasty when dealing with a homicide bomber, just wait and see how many big, smoking craters are created in Gaza should they decide to 'act' upon this new declaration.

(Another hat tip to Charles at LGF for this)
