Let me ask this - did blacks have equal rights right after MLK give his "I have a dream" speech? Perhaps the merit of his winning the prize was based on the steps he is taking to put America back in good standing with the rest of the world. The fact he has tried to extend a hand to Iran (whether chicken hawks agree with this or not) when the last 8 years has been nothing but hawking by a corrupt administration, the fact he, yes, is trying to squash this ridiculous idea of unilateralism.
I am not sure if I agree all of this yet deserves a peace prize, we won't know the list of others for a long time, but I am also not against the recognition that within 8 months, how much repair in our world standing he has done. He has done a lot considering the amount of damage Bush Admin did over 8 years of failed foreign policy.

Consolation?!? I'm not going to rehash this argument.....Carter didn't do squat. And getting the Nobel 25 years later for that or North Korea is still a complete joke.

Rush Limpdick? You can't even use the guys name.....it shows that you have no argument to stand upon if you malign his name into something a fifth-grader might come up with. And I don't listen to him. Hannity? Once in a while when I'm in the car and he's on the radio. And Michael Savage? No. Believe it or not, he's too.....out there for my tastes.
