Hiya Honey...

I've decided to change how I'm handling this whole thing.
Rather than drive myself and a buncha other people nuts, I'mina do it to you! No, only kiddin', Sweetie.

What I'm gonna start doing is just writing to you here, at your place, every day. I'd do it every time I think of you, but Mrs. Mikey's eyeballs would wizzle up and fall out trying to read it all if I did that.
So... I'll try not to ramble too awful much, but I do wanna give her something to read to ya.
Keep ya entertained and all...

First of all... I miss you. I think about you a million times a day, if I think of you once and I do do that.

I have that utterly adorable picture of you with that blue ballcap and that megawatt grin of yours as my top post. I have it dated for February 14th because, like I said in the EP, that day is all about love and so are you, Buddy. So are you.

After I'd cruised the "update" sites today, I took a stroll through my Stat Counter "Recent Keyword Activity".
I copied and pasted a buncha goofy search terms to make a post out of, but I never did get around to it.

That's because, a few of them, I clicked on to see what on Earth I'd said to get that search result, ya know?

Several of them lead me to posts that had something to do with you.
Either you'd left a comment or I'd mentioned you or, one of them was an email to you that Yahoo wouldn't let me send, for some unknown reason.
That one was about buying a new modem at Best Buy and having to exchange it.
You left the funniest comment... You said their motto is "You have questions. We have blank stares."

That made me laugh again today when I read it.
Just like now.

Then, I stumbled across your post about the whole kidney issue and had the same reaction today that I did when ya wrote it.... grinning through tears.

Ya wanna know the best part of it all? I wasn't seeking out "Mikey" posts. In fact, if anything, I was trying to distract myself for a few, as if I could.
Yet, it seemed everywhere I was taken led back to you and I felt better for it. Like you are, once again, trying to prop up my sorry ass on top of dealing with your own stuff.
You are incredible, you know that?
You ought to, as many times as I know myself you've been told.

Well anyway... it's after 11:30pm and I do hafta get up at the butt crack of dawn to go fork horse poopage, so I'm gonna go for now. Besides which, Mrs. Mikey is probably gonna need some Visine, as long as this already is.

But, fear not... I'll be back later with more "letters to Mikey" about the more "unique" aspects of my day(s).

I'm sure you have an idea of what that means, don'tcha?
Yup.
Endless silliness and drivel from yours truly, with the occasional "straight from the heart", make-Mikey-blush kinda thing ever' now and again, lest you forget how awesome you are.

Yo, Mikey! Heard about your bad break from Scroff over at Any Which Way. I'd dropped by a couple times in the past and just observed so to speak. We're both military men, but we hail from opposite sides of the political divide. From this lefty to you, righty, get better soon. From what I have seen and read about you, a stroke is more a diversion than anything to you. I wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you a speedy recovery, you old squid you. Your family, friends, and observers like me are all wishing you the best. As Cait said in a previous post, we're all sending you our good karma. Hang in there and prove all them doctors wrong!
