If these clowns actually follow-through with this stunt, they're gonna find out that military recruiters can actually do something to defend themselves.
While most of the time recruiters are friendly, pleasant, and out-going, if these ass-hats in Pittsburgh try to
...confine military recruiters until they no longer pose a danger to our friends and neighborsthey're be dealing with a plethora of bloody noses. The better bring lots of tissues.
Too bad it's on the other side of the country - it would be amusing to see peaceniks getting their teeth shoved down their throats.

This wasn't a plan to 'exercise their right(s) to free speech' - it would be a plan to actually imprison military recruiters PHYSICALLY nunya. It's one way of restricting the civil rights of the recruiters.
You are aware of the concept of physically restraining a person is against the law, right? It's why many people won't try to use 'citizen's arrest' to stop & hold a person - it usually backfires and the person doing the citizen's arrest is usually found to be in the wrong.
Besides....protesting at a recruiting station is pointless - it's like screaming at the clouds for bringing rain to a picnic.
Oh, and BTW....who the fuck are YOU to justify what my service to the nation means? A 'judgement call' from you is like being a paycheck in Monopoly money.....a complete fucking joke.
Now if you'll pardon me, I have to go put some more swastika decals on plastic models to repress someone...

You Got Caught Dumbass
I didn't initially comment on this frackus because I know that there would be a lot more to it once the smoke & debris cleared the air.
Sigh....They guy royally screwed-the-pooch on this (he might have paid extra for it though) and that is that. Eliot, you freakin moron: resign. Quit already. There isn't any sort of 'positive' spin that can be put on this and have you stay in office.
Does it effect me here in California? Not a bit, but it sure does brighten up that neon HYPOCRITE sign right next to the D for Democrat next to his name.
UPDATE: Okay, he finally did it. Now maybe the news won't be featuring his ugly mug every five minutes.

And what did he get nabbed for - paying for the services of a prostitute. Yes, illegal, but is it something that someone should be fired for or forced to resign? Integrity to hold office has no rulebook. If it did, shouldn't Bush be out of office?

She Rocks
Every time I had gone out to buy it, I'd either find it out of stock or way over $20 - so I'd wait. I knew that it would never be found in a 'bargain bin', but I knew that the price would have to come down eventually.
That was Father's Day 2007 - spring forward to March 2008.
The doorbell rings and I open the door to see a UPS guy standing there. He's got a package for the wife, so I sign for it and take it to her. She opens the package and inside along with some books for the kid, there is a copy of The Wall.
Boo-YAH! My wife & kid totally rock!
Now I just have to find my headphones because the wife isn't really fond of Pink Floyd.....
