Here's a comment that I spotted over at San Diego IMC that (for the moment) hasn't been deleted. It's from one of those pathetic posts about how the Minutemen must be shut down so that illegal migrants....undocumented migrants....aliens can keep swarming across the border.
We call on people everywhere to converge on the San Diego/Tijuana region and the Mexicali/Calexico region of the Mexico/US border in order to stop the vigilante operation being planned there by the Friends of the Border Patrol, beginning on September 16th. We also call on those who cannot travel to these areas to organize solidarity actions in their home towns rejecting the Minutemen, Borders and the racist ideologies that Borders are built on.What I found interesting was that someone - somehow - managed to get a comment past the Nazi-esque censors about the incesent whining about the Minutemen:Our goal for Sep. 16th-18th is to take action and directly shut down the Minutemen operations.

We are not anti-Mexican. We are anti-ILLEGAL immigration. Those 3,200 people chose to attempt to illegally cross the border and ignored the legal channels for immigration.

- The MinuteMen are anti-Arab: From the SaveOurState.org website, a group which was present at the Campo Minutemen operation: "Well I have heard that Arabs and Arab culture is a lot like the Mexican culture. And that they are just as dirty, they both get along."
Hearsay. Again, prove it. If anything this was an opinion voiced by a sole visitor of the SOS website. They and we cannot be held liable for an individual's exercised right to _expression on the internet. We will not tolerate racist comments or actions within our organization but will not censor every person that comes on our sites.
- The Minutemen openly work with hate groups: As the Southern Poverty Law Center recently wrote, with help from Indymedia photographs, SaveOurState.org is an organization that consists of members of the National Vangaurd neo-nazi organization. The presence of these hate groups in SOS has been defended by the leader of SOS. SOS works closely with the Minutemen and their members were present at the Campo operation."
The pro-illegal immigration protesters openly consort with and sponsor Aztlan and la Raza members. How is that any different? SOS cannot bar someone from a legal and peaceful public protest solely based upon what other groups they are in. However, they are not permitted to join the ranks of the Minute Man Project.
- The MinuteMen are against cultural diversity: The SaveOurState.org forums have long rants about how everyone in the US should speak english, and speak without an accent. At public events, MinuteMen supporters have displayed signs saying "deportation or assimilation", a message which goes far beyond 'illegal immigration'"
In Germany, Germans are expected to speak German. In Saudi Arabia citizens are expected to speak Arabic. Every sovereign nation has a right to a national language. And assimilation is an essential part of a healthy immmigration process. The US is a wonderful melting pot of rich cultures, however when a person becomes a US citizen they should put being an American before their ancestry.
- The MinuteMen think they are fighting a fictitious "war on terror": the MinuteMen have said numerous times that they want to keep Al-Quaeda from crossing the US/Mexico border, despite the fact that none of the 9/11 hijackers entered the country illegally. Their efforts to keep this fiction alive only promotes anti-Muslim hatred and the idea of a war without an end."
We do not hate Muslims. You cannot seem to decide whether we're racist toward Mexicans or Muslims. But the heart of the matter is that we do not care what nationality someone is when they cross the border illegally they are committing an illegal action.
- The MinuteMen are opposed to women's rights: At our events they have accused women protesters of "killing babies", showing their opposition to the right to choose. In addition, the border that the Minutemen are enforcing supports a system where the majority of Maquiladora workers are women and where women are being murdered in Ciudad Juarez."
Do you want to see my "I'm a woman" ID card? Go ahead and tell me that I'm anti-woman. The corporations that are leeching off of an underprivileged society should be accused of being anti-woman. Not us.
- The MinuteMen embody the violent nature of capitalism: MinuteMen supporters equate capitalism with freedom, while we know that capitalism means only freedom for the wealthy and exploitation for everyone else. We reject trade agreements like NAFTA, which are a result of capitalism, and which promote destructive globalisation. The Minutemen are enforcing a border regime that determines who can be exploited, since capital can move freely while people cannot."
Show me ONE instance where Minute Men were violent.
Will anyone of these barking moon bats reply to GirlWithSlingShot? Probably not since their entire arguement is based upon 'feeling the moment', blind rage fueled from ignorance, and they seem to be affected by FACTS like Superman is affected by a hunk of kryptonite.

Hey lotu5: A Real Patriot is right.You keep squaking about 'human rights' for the illegal aliens (yes, that's what they are - ILLEGAL) but you nor anyone else here except for Real Patriot have said the word BOO about the Americans that get screwed over by illegals.
What about those people maimed because there's some psycho 'coyote' driving about a 100 mph INTO TRAFFIC with about 29 illegals crammed in a van and there's a six-car pileup? Hmmmm?
How abour the murders? Especially when they scoot right back over the border and the Mexican government won't do squat to extradite them?
Or the rapists? Would you mind if an illegal raped someone close to you? Or about about YOU?
A Real Patriot has it DEAD ON: Where is your precious ACLU? Where are the 'citizen groups' that want American lives and property protected?
And you wonder why most of the ranchers out in Easy County carry and USE firearms? Or why people are coming togather EN MASS to join the Minutemen Project? You can't be THAT stupid. lotu5, you are a screaming HYPOCRITE and a FRAUD. It is no wonder you scurried out of California like a squirrel - it's your modus operendi. You scurry out from your hole-in-the-ground, chatter noisly, and they scurry back to your hiding place when someone confronts you or your insane thoughts. But there is one difference between you and squirrels: Squirrels have NUTS.
