Sometimes I cruise over to San Diego Indy Media to see what the local barking moonbats are up to these days.
Here's a real gem of an idea they have for January 20th: Nationwide General Strike.
After laughing hysterically at this, I left the following comment for them (assuming it doesn't get deleted since they've been known to do that with comments that make them look stupid):
I always love these great ideas - General Nationwide Strike.Brilliant.
Now - what do you think any number of employers will do if let's say 20% of their workforce all 'called in sick'??One additional reason this is a bad idea came to mind as I was preparring this post: if city bus drivers participate in this strike, these *cough* activists won't be able to get anywhere since it's a well-known concept that being a social activist/smelly hippie doesn't really matter much when you have to walk to the protest instead of riding the bus....Why they'd react like anyone jabbed with a stick - jump back.
Now - what do you think 'jumping back' will entail?? Hmmmm????
They'll scale back their operations and/or presume that this 20% of the work force cannot be trusted to return to work as they're supposed to assuming they want to keep working.
This 20% of a company's workforce will find themselves laid-off because:
Now seriously - don't you think that any company that utilizes workers that would be STUPID enough to participate in this general strike wouldn't see it coming and prepare for it, i.e. filling out the pink slips ahead of time - and leaving the NAME portion blank??
- Companies are in the business to make money.
- If companies find that some segment of their company is hurting their business, they'll ELIMINATE IT. (That means all those that 'sick out' will be called and told to STAY HOME!)
- The company will either hire NEW people after they've determined that they're not going to pull a childish stunt like a general strike OR they'll outsource those jobs that were suddenly not getting done on January 20th.
Sure - most people would think of this - most people except for you dorks.
Are you gonna hold your head high after this general strike and say "Well, those people fired probably didn't like their jobs anyway"?? You probably will and then turn around and scream that BUSH = HITLER cause there are more people filing for unemployment benefits.
It really amazes me just how SHORT-TERM you fuckers think ahead. No wonder you're all a bunch of smelly hippes - you cannot aford to buy a bar of Ivory soap cause you keep getting fired!!
UPDATE: As expected, the worms deleted my comment. Guess they couldn't handle the truth.....

Seeing as how I don't have an argument, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I dig little boys.
EDIT: Thanks for giving me another IP to ban. This is what happens when you come to the House of Mikey and act like an asshated clown.....

Personally, I think they ought to take a year off. With no pay. That would be a statement. Plus since a great number of these protesters are in academia (says me)they wouldn't be spreading any of thier bullshit for a year, they would be doing their country a big service. C'mon people think BIG.
